As the name suggests the story revolves around a girl Zaibunissa (Nida Kazmi) who has been married off at a really young age to Mehmood (Adnan Siddiqui). Mehmood is jobless and houseless and both these problems are solved by Zaibi's father. As a result, Mehmood suffers from an inferiority complex and makes Zaibi's life really miserable. Zaibi is a girl whose life revolves around women digests and believes that life should be one big fairy tale where all ends well.

Zaibi is a meek and timid girl and does not let her family know about her martial problems and intends to solve them herself.

The couple moves to a new apartment arranged by Zaibi's dad. Saba (Sania Saeed) comes to help out Zaibi. She used to live in the same apartment seven years ago. Saba's husband was cruel and used to beat her up as well. Since Saba feels that Zaibi's life is going in the same direction, she offers her help! Also helping Zaibi are her younger brother Ali (Adarash Ayaz) and next door neighbor Sofia (Sabeen Javeri).

Well fate manages to smile on Mehmood and he gets a better job as a manager of properties of Mrs. Khan and her daughter Samina. As a result, his attitude towards his wife also improves and he becomes really loving and caring. Zaibi gets permission to teach in a school, and just as Zaibi starts thinking that all is well in her life, fate has something else in store for her.

Running parallel is the story of Zaibi's younger sister Salma (Zeba Akbar) who wants to become a doctor, but their mother (Sajida Syed) wants her married off as well. Luckily her fiance Aamir is really accomodating and agrees to wait for five years.

Ali meanwhile develops a soft spot for Sofia and decides to scare of her fiance Imran so that he can marry her. The real mystery concerns Saba, who comes and goes as she pleases. Who is Saba and what is her aim ?

A watchable play though one would have expected something better from Sahira Kazmi. Definitely miles behinds classics such as Dhoop Kinarey and Aahat. Sahira seems to be still lost in Dhoop Kinarey as the background music of this play is the same as Dhoop Kinarey's. Adarash Ayaz and Sabeen Javeri provide comic relief and they are doing well, especially Adarash who fits well into his brotherly role. -by Gina

A story about simple people. People like us or people who live among us. Sans glamour it is a pleasure to watch. No foreign locales - again an added plus! Nida really needs to improve on her acting skills and stop staring at the ceiling every few minutes. The comedy tracks are actually funny! A good effort by Sahira Kazmi but definitely not great.
